Green Ghana Day is an initiative by the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources and the Forestry Commission and is part of an aggressive national afforestation and reforestation program aimed at restoring the country’s lost forest cover and is also expected to contribute to the global effort to mitigate the adverse.
The District held it maiden meeting at District Chief Executive’s office on 9th May 2024. members present were the District Chief Executive(DCE), District cord. Director, District forestry , District Head of works, District Physical Planner, NADMO, and other Assembly staff.
